Hiiii! I’m Kaylee. I was born and have lived in Ventura my whole life, until recently moving to Oxnard in 2020. I am 17 years old and am a junior at Ventura High school. I started gymnastics at Gold Coast when I was 9 and have been competing since I was 10, I am currently an excel Diamond.I like coffee,ice cream, animals and spending time with my friends and family. I think that the most important trait to have as a coach or a gymnast is patience. As a coach not all kids will do everything right away, it might take them time and that’s totally okay. We just need to be able to let them have their time as they need but also give them that little push to feel better about it. From a gymnasts perspective, I will not doing everything first try, I get scared, I need my time and I think it’s super important to not rush things if you don’t feel good about it yet, but also trust in coaches because they know what they are doing.
