Hey there! I’m Ashley. I was born and raised in Ventura California and I started gymnastics here at Gold Coast when I was only 7. I did competitive gymnastics up until I was 17, where I had to quit due to a bad injury. Shortly after quitting the sport I loved, I wanted to help gymnasts just like myself in the sport that they love just as much as I do! This place is so much like home to me and I love the atmosphere this gym provides the kids. I love Starbucks, Monster energy drinks, food, animals, and candy. I have so many pets it’s not even funny! I currently am a Ventura College graduate with 3 AA’s and 1 AS. I think the most important thing in being a gymnastics coach is the knowledge and strength you pass onto the kids. Being able to break skills down and see that light-bulb shine on the top of their heads when it clicks is so rewarding. You not only teach them high-flying skills, but you teach them about work ethic and how to balance life with things you love. If you ever need help with anything I’m here to help!
