Hey! My name is Kelsey! I was born and raised in Ventura and current am a Junior at California Lutheran University studying psychology. I started gymnastics when I was five years old and fell in love with the sport. When I moved to Gold Coast I got the chance to compete with xcel for 3 years. During that time I made forever friendships with my teammates and coaches. Being able to coach alongside my old coaches is a great feeling, because I now get the chance to influence younger gymnasts just like they influenced me. Mentally, physically, socially, this sport allows for growth in so many areas. Gymnastics is all about being kind, respectful and sharing a love for the sport. I think providing a positive atmosphere and encouragement is a key role in being a coach.
